VALUE FOR MONEY This is one thing i dont thing anyone can argue about, approximately, £12.99 for a 3 cd compilation that showcases some of the best talent in the buisness. This album is one of the largest collection of the best trance anthems ever to hit the shelves. Compiled by Dave Pearce himself 'Trance Anthems 2008' represents a 3 CD all-time stellar package featuring some of the biggest artists in the world. ARTISTS YOU CAN EXPECT TO FIND Paul Oakenfold, Chicane, Agnelli & Nelson, Underworld, Mauro Piccotto, PPK, York, Brainbug, Sash, ATB, Three Drives, Push, Verracocha, Tiesto and many more.. ...There are a lot of 'Classic Trance' albums around at the moment, it seems to have become a trend in the last few years (as the trance scene has become very un-commercial). At first I was very sceptical about CDs of this nature as I preferred instead to buy classic albums (such as the Annual 4, Trance Nation 4 etc...), but this CD really does break the mould. This CD unlike all of the others around has 3 CD's packed with TOP tracks, rather than 20 - 25 great tracks and 15 - 35 filler tracks on all of the other classic albums. I would definetely recommend this to any other trance fan. Especially fans of 98 - 02 (when IMO Trance was at its finest). In conclusion - TOP CD - BUY IT NOW!... Read review

Advantages: Great new styles, not afraid of trying new trance techniques, good lengthed songs
Disadvantages: Not many well known songs remixed, lyrics are always the chorus of the song repeated

...This album shows just how much Armin is capable of. A State of Trance 2007 features 28 long trance tracks, ranging from 2 minutes to 8 minutes (Most around 6) that flow into eachother. Armin has used various techniques that other trance music creators have not tried yet, such as bit-crunching, and has achieved the desired effect. I have really enjoyed this album, and have listened to it for 3 months now, without being bored of it. One of my favourite aspects of this album is the use of drums, he has used different samples to make his music provide the 'rushing' feeling to it's listener that most trance artists cannot achieve. This album is well worth it's price, as it has over 1 and a half hours of tracks inside, that you will not get bored of.
