The sounds of science is an anthology charting the progress of the Beasties from frat rock, to sublime hip hop. As such there will be a lot of variation on the album and this means you are unlikely to enjoy very song. However the way in which this album and the autobiography put this band into context is truly excellent. The noticeable evolution between “ Fight for your right “ and Sabotage is pleasing to watch from a retrospective angle
This album really charts the maturing of a band who have reinvented themselves often and have become icons in their genre.
