As mentioned in my other review, I don't judge the songs as to if they live up to songs earlier in Aerosmith's career. I just judge the songs for as they are. I don't see any point complaining about what isn't on the CD but should have been. Take it for what it is, is what I say. This Geffen Anthology of Aerosmith songs consists of 2 CDs in which tallies up 34 songs. One major problem is, if you have a collection of Aerosmith songs already, you are in danger of having duplicates... Read review

Advantages: untouched from the movie, bril quality love it!
Disadvantages: unnessicary bonus tracks

.... Then when Harry gets tortured its very loud then quiet. it such a long song but simply fantastic to listen to. 19. Death Of Cedric- This could make you cry. It is so beautifully written. it is fairly quiet all the way through but it does make you feel really sad. 20. Another Year Ends- A bit more triumphant but still on the sad level. this is when everyone is saying bye to each other and Harry feels left out. He then finds Hermione and Ron who comfort them and they wathc the 2 other schools go home at last. A great finale but is still pretty sad at the same time. BONUS by Jarvis Cocker Do The Hippogriff- Is the rock song a the yule ball. As you only get to hear a little of it the soundtrack people obviously thought we needed to hear the full version. Advantages: All of their biggest songs are on there (IMO), double album
Disadvantages: A few tracks that aren't that great, might be too Eighties-style for some!

...Christmas 2001 was a record year for me. Normally every year I receive CDs or videos from a few people. Then last year I acquired a DVD player, thus adding one more type of entertainment gift to my list. At the end of Christmas Day, I had received two CDs and three DVDs from one person alone! Then I was presented with some vouchers for HMV and during the early days of the January Sales, I treated myself to two more DVDs and three more CDs. One of said purchases was Young Lust: The Aerosmith Anthology, by – shocker – Aerosmith. I’d seen the adverts on TV in the run-up to Christmas and added the album to my Amazon Wish List, in the hope that anyone who had yet to purchase a gift for moi might go for the newest addition at the top of the list.
