“Money Job” came as an early 2009 mixtape from the rapper Arab (pronounce A-Rab). Long-time friend to Soulja Boy (Tell ‘Em), he appeared on his debut album and the pair worked together prior to this as Dem 30/30 Boyz before Soulja Boy blew up as a solo artist in 2007, yet Arab remained by his side at all times and remained signed to the artists S.O.D. (Stacks On Deck) Money Gang label. This mixtape features work from as early as 2006 up to 2009 with him showing what he is personally capable of.

1. “Comin’” (Intro)

2. “Pass To Arab”

After warming up the set, you see that things lead into a track that was found on Soulja Boy’s debut when Arab was Arab finally able to show his own potential. I felt that it was a fairly strong tune (considering that it was recorded prior to Beezy’s signing to Interscope) and so although it has some unprofessional production, the thing was on-trend for 2006 and matches the potential that Soulja Boy had in his Fruity Loops beats and Arab comes with some fairly decent rhymes.

**Four Stars**

3. “Where They At”

With a crowded set filled with lots of unknown names, you see that you get some straight wack material as you see that as you go from a tune recorded at a time long before they had the money to actually make anything of worth, even with good standard beats, the right beats aren’t given and it just sounds terrible. Going form this point, you see that Arab seems as if he’s out of his comfort zone as after killing it whilst rapping about dance moves, here he just doesn’t do anything at all.

**One Star**

4. “I’m Fire”

Getting back to his solo work, you see that this one has him taking on the Gucci Mane style with raps which have him comparing things to colours (rather annoyingly) but you see that off the back of this he appears to be able to come out with some much more impressive flows which actually sound as if they have some fluidity to them and see that although it doesn’t have any substance to it, it shows that something is there.

**Three Stars**

5. “16 Heavy Bars”

Here he delivers 16 bars, ‘heavy’ certainly isn’t right though as you see that he brings a hook that was used from Soulja Boy’s “Yahhh!” and from here he shows how he is able to chang up hs delivery style, but he does it in such a confused and straight-forward manner that it actually takes thigns back for him and shows how lifeless his rhymes are and how he raps about nothing but rubbish 9which he isn’t able to back up at all).

**One Star**

6. “Chingaling”

This one sounds like the type of thing that Soulja Boy would have recorded, when you consider the type of production you get from it and the style that you get in the chorus and so it wouldn’t surprise me if he actually had a role in writing here. However it can’t be said that the music is significant enough to actually take anything from as he raps about the money he makes, which he claims to be from rapping (impossible since he hasn’t released an official mixtape, never mind album) and is only Soulja Boy’s personal assistant.

**One Star**

7. “My Name” (Remix)

You see that he is suddenly able to improve out of nowhere as you find that with improvements in the structure of the beats he finds a way to rap in a manner that actually shows that he has a degree of potential in his music. It is a confusing tune and seems to come out of nowhere and I felt that it was good to show that there is at least something worth taking from this mixtape, though many will still break it down.

**Three Stars**

8. “Me With The Aliens”

Going off to his own world (apparently taking the influence from Lil’ Wayne) you see that with this one he comes out with some futuristic flows with an annoying whiny voice as he talks us through his thoughts and why exactly he isn’t often shown to speak too much. He hypes up his up-coming album (that has been delayed to the point where it probably won’t ever drop) and is basically another pointless one.

**One Star**

9. “Just A Customer”

With this one he performs even more rhymes which can be easily broken down into pure lies as he attempts to push himself as a Trap-Rap artist with some rhymes about his grind. It is rather desperate from him and sees that although he hints on certain things that he may be slanging, he doesn’t actually specifically mention what exactly he’s allegedly selling (because it would be so easy to break it down for its lack of substance).

**One Star**

10. “Money Gang Rock”

This is an S.O.D> Money Gang track and gets the core trio, Soulja Boy, Arab and JBar coming together for their first significant work together. You really can’t think much to t, but it stands as a clear improvement on the sorts of things you get at the other parts of the album as they take it to the clubs and go back to ’07 by doing a track with a specific dance associated with it. it does more to show how weak Arab is compared to others.

**Four Stars**

11. “My Job”

Finally bringing the mixtape to an end, this one finds Arab coming out with a track that has him rapping about how he gets his money up. It is another wack track fro him and features yet more of the rhymes that you really won’t believe you are hearing as he stumbles his way through the track and just flops at each stage. Here he talks of how he is stacking up money through rapping (which simply isn’t happening).

**One Stars**

This is a terrible mixtape from Arab and affirms the fact that it would be a waste of time for Soulja Boy to have any input on his music (by appearing as a guest) because really he hasn’t got anything going for him and it just all sounds so weak. There are some fairly decent tunes, strangely coming from earlier on, but really it’s not going to impress anyone whatsoever.
