Arab world: the 11 singers featured inArabia: The Women's Voiceare ambassadors for peace. And in the case of Oum Kalthoum, even across Arab-Israeli battle lines. Her strong, pure tones conclude this collection, which begins with the present and then works chronologically backwards. We get a plethora of singers backed by furious electro effects, but what strikes you is the way their voices remain quintessentially Arabic. That dusky, lazy tone, which so often lingers microtonally below the note, seems impervious to extraneous influences. As we go back in time, the accompaniments become simpler and more engaging: massed strings in unison, plus an accordion or a lute or a zither. My favourites are Nagat Al Saghira, who was a child-star of Egyptian cinema in the 1940s, and the great Lebanese singer Fairouz. Nobody has ever successfully replicated her deep, dark timbre and it seems doubtful that anyone ever will.--Michael Church

...Target Audience...
Although it is predominantly women who watch this show you often get a few men watching it when they are at home and they often write in to the show. So although it is a show with women
presenting there is still enough for men to enjoy the show.
Coleen Nolan
Coleen is known as the funniest one of the panel and was a singer with her sisters in "The Nolans". She often talks about her relationship with her partner Ray who she often takes the mic out of on the show. She is known as being quite liberal and is often one of the more outspoken of the panel.
Carol McGiffin
Carol used to be married to Chris Evans and often talks about her life back then in the early nineties when she was coming into the showbiz industry, she has a radio show which she has been doing since 1995 on Talk Radio Uk. Carol is known as somebody...

...Before leaving for my summer holiday I always like to stock up on new toiletteries, including some new treats. This year was no exception. Although I have several razors in my bathroom all need new blades. As new blades often cost more than a new razor I decided to treat myself to a new razor. Looking along the shelves of Superdrug I spotted a new razor made by Wilkinson Sword. The razor caught my eye for 2 reasons. One it was on sale at ½ price for under £3 and two it looked like a whole new concept in women?s shaving. The Wilkinson Sword Intuition claims to be the worlds first all in 1 razor for women.
What you get for your money.
********************************
The razor comes in a fairly bulky plastic packaging. IT was very difficult to break into too! However once I had released the razor I was able to have a proper look...

Advantages: Funny , Light , Interesting Disadvantages: Some Stuff Already Seen On The Show!
...discuss everyday topics that affect women as well as interviewing celebrities! The main presenters on the show are Coleen Nolan (member of the pop band , The Nolans) , Jane McDonald (famous singer) and Carol McGiffin (Chris Evan's ex-wife), although there are a few regular ones who appear on the show such as Denise Welch and Lynda Bellingham. There are certainly a lot of laughs to be had whilst watching this show.
When I heard that the Loose Women had a book out called Girls Night In ( I actually first heard about this book when Amy69 wrote a review about it), I just had to buy it! The book cost me £9.99 from play.com. The cover consists of eight members of the team : Coleen Nolan , Carol McGiffin, Jane McDonald , Denise Welch (played barmaid Natalie in Coronation Street), Sherrie Hewson (Maureen from Coronation Street) , Jackie Brambles...
