The following ' Prisoner in mind' 'Silent Revolution' ' Fire and Ice ' and ' Eclipse of Mind ' are all really fine more rock based songs with very powerfull scorching guitar/ riffing and the odd lovely spacey ethereal passages.The final track though is a little of a let down.Great start but far too long and the full choir and orchestra just doesn't fit there style at all. Very bombastic and too overdone! A great CD though this one. Even if it's not as good as earlier works i really like it! Love the artwork on the cover by the way! Recommended! ...Everyone should remember Rickie Lee Jones for the famous songs ‘Chuck E’s in Love’, and ‘Easy Money’. She has a style that fits in with the jazzy fans of the world, her music is a melting pot of folk, jazz and rhythm and blues. Just imagine yourself sitting in a Jazz café, drinking a whiskey on the rocks in a smoke filled room and a hypnotic, laid back tune will probably be playing in the background… it’s probably Rickie Lee Jones. Her voice is addictive, it’s sweet and calming making you want to listen to her album more and more. I discovered Rickie Lee Jones about the same time I started getting into Blues, with the likes of BB King and John Lee Hooker, just two of Jazz & R&B greats. ...into but isn't. So after fiddling with it for a while I got a knife and sliced across it, not damaging the card sleeve I might add. There is a sepia type picture on the front of a dart board on this one, with the words One Hit Wonders across the front and several of the stars who sang them underneath. Information on the back is limited to the tracks, who produces them, playing time, total 56minutes 18 seconds. There is in very small type font a bit about whom they are licensed to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The tracks 1) The Archies - Sugar Sugar Who, who wasn't born before the seventies could resist jigging about to this version?
