...A fantastic CD with lot's of different kinds of rock. The best bands of 2006 and 2007 put in one CD. Artists like Snow Patrol, Razorlight, The Fratellies, The Arctic Monkeys, Automatic, The Ordinary Boys, The Killers, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks and the list goes on. Has two CD's and has 40 tracks, 20 on each CD. Has new up coming artist such as Wolfmother. has many artists winners from the Brits: The Killers who won best national CD and best national band, The Arctic Monkeys won best British CD and best British band. The Fratellis won an award too and many more Brit award winning artists. A fantastic purchase well worth its money. A great buy. I recommend definitely to people anywhere between 8 and 100 if they enjoy that kind of music. It even has some live performing artists such as 'The Arctic Monkeys' on tour... Read review

...I love the live lounge! I have to listen to it when ever possible so when they brought out a CD I just had to get it.. I first got hooked when I was at work and heard Jamie Cullum singing Frontin, it was so fantastic that I have had to listen ever since, for people who haven't listened to Jo Whiley on radio 1at lunchtime. She plays all your normal music in the charts but she also does the live lounge, this is were she invites bands and solo sings like the Arctic Monkeys and Lemar to cover other artists songs and their own with an acoustic live feel which makes your hair stand up on the back of your neck. The cover versions that the artists have done are brilliant! They have taken a song and made it their own, there are so many good artists on this album that I could sit here all day and waffle on about them. One of my favourites... Read review

Advantages: awesome music, some of the best instrumentals out today

...this is one of the greatest scores for any movie out today. it includes some of the world's greatest artists including sir james galway on flute as well as other featured musicians. the bold, powerful music of the film loses nothing when observed on its own without the images. the expressiveness of the score is of a quality rarely seen today. though there is a repetitive theme throughout the various tracks this was necessary as it is an accompaniment and not meant to detract too much attention from the film, but rather to embelish and support it. though it was repetitive in nature there were different unique themes, and each variation on a particular theme was original and deep. one does not even have to have seen the movie to enjoy and appreciate this moving soundtrack....
