Continuing with our pirate and seaside theme, I found this book, and read it to a class of key Stage 1 children.
THE STORY
The story focuses on little Whale, who is playing happily on the ocean bed, and doesn't realise that his family have gone missing- left him alone as they swim away.
Naturally, he is frightened (the children agreed that they would be afraid), and things get worse when he tries to sing his whale song to call his family back, and no sound comes out.
Little Whale swims along the ocean bed, and in turn, sees a dolphin, a lobster, an octopus a turtle and a seal. he asks each of them to sing their own special song in the hope that this will remind him of the sound he makes. It's all to no avail- they either don't sing or sing ...
Up until a few years ago I struggled to find clothing for my larger than average frame, but as I still consider myself relatively young, I wanted clothing that was still fashionable without looking like Pat Evans from Eastenders, although do you not think her earrings are pure class?? Most of their clothing range is available is sizes 16 up to size 30 however a small selection of clothing is available from size 14 ...

~*~*~INTRODUCTION~*~*~
My husband and I had been married a month when we found out I was expecting. We were over the moon but realised it didn't really give us chance to save. We decided early that we would opt for a travel system as it would save buying a car seat and a pram.
We looked around Mothercare and Babies'r'us at all the different options, the prices still seemed quite high so we looked at the old faithful, the Argos catalogue. We saw the Mamas and Papas Aria, it came as a pushchair on its own for £99.99, or along with the Primo Viaggio and Mamas and Papas accessories for £129.99. We decided to go for it as a package, again saving money.
