Advantages: Strong songs are brilliant. Good music. Disadvantages: Poorer songs aren't worth listening to. Might get boring after a few repeats.
THE INTRO
Tiamat are something of a strange force. They haven?t had overwhelming success in the UK, but they have been going for 17 years with a good name in heavy rock circles on the continent. Their latest album to be released was the one that introduced the band to me. It?s not necessarily their best work ever, but it?s not far from it.
Tiamat are a Swedish band, now based in Germany, who originally started out in 1990 doing death metal. They released one album of that genre and have, over the years, moved from a very heavy style of music to what they now describe as ?Gothic symphonic rock/metal?, although ?Gothic prog-rock? is how I?d describe them.

Advantages: Good storyline, Good Looking Cast Disadvantages: screenplay, script, could be a lot better
Plot
In 1692, in the Ipswich Colony of Massachusetts, five families of powerful witches commit to a covenant of silence to protect themselves against the witch hunters, but one of the families transgress their pact and is banished from their lands. Along the centuries, the power and the covenant are transmitted through their descendants and when the eldest son is eighteen years old, he ascends to a higher power. However, the use of magic addicts and if used in excess, ages the warlock. In the present days, four wizards teenage friends are in high school and their leader Caleb Danvers (Steven Strait) is close to his eighteenth birthday and consequently to ascend. Advantages: Incredible value, great for any fan of the series Disadvantages: Lacks the special extras you may find in a specially created boxset
made. This undermines its effect as providing the complete Stargate SG1 DVD collection and may put some people off. All I will say is that the price of this boxset makies it incredible value when compared to the latest 'Complete' boxsets.
Extras
As mentioned above, this is really just a collation of all of the individual boxsets that you can already buy in the shops, and so there are none of the special extras that you may expect to find where the boxset has been created for a celebration years after the series has ended. ...
