This had the effect that many of his fellow musicians went on to create other projects and front their own bands with a similar individuality and creative flair and in doing so forming a whole community of like minded bands that are to this day striking out in all directions around the world. The first three songs on the album are taken from the first album, the wonderfully named "Wicked Women, Wicked Men and Wicket Keepers", cricket, along with trains being a recurring reference point. "Stand Into Danger" sums up the bands ability to fuse ancient and modern in their lyrics. Sounding like a ballad recounting an old sea battle, it is actually a well disguised retelling of the night the band were booked to play the Thekla, a old light-ship, now a floating trendy bar, then an alternative music venue. Advantages: BK is one of the best Dj's goin
Disadvantages: If you're not into dance/trance music this isn't for you

...This 2 Disc Cd has 37 tunes on it, ranging from Yer Man - Good Grief ,BK- Playing with Knives,The Pridigy- No Good. As it's BK on this CD the outcome is Hard House/Trance which I prefer but some of you will be expecting it to be like Vol4, which it isn't all the way I'm afraid, but stil a definite must. In my opinion the first cd is a bit of a grower, the main cd is the second one however which from the first beat of BK & Ed Real's A Little Love has you wanting more until the end, and then more again! BK's choice of tracks and mixing skills go a long way on this Album, my faourite's include X-Complex, The Walk and Antic's- The Ultimate, two huge house anthems. For me this is a must have as part of the Extreme Euphoria Collection, obviously not everyone's choice of music but a wikid choice for all you club heads!... Read review

Advantages: Smokie at their best
Disadvantages: Absolutely none

...that the original is always the best but on this album I have to disagree. Smokie not only maintain their classic sound with their trademark harmonies sounding powerfully beautiful,but each cover made me wonder....What if Smokie had to get these songs first??.The arrangement,mix and the Smokie touch left me in no doubt that Smokie are still able to rock and still have the ability to amaze. This is proven to me in tracks such as 'It Never Rains In Southern California",'Arms Of Mary' and 'Still The One' by Shania Twain.The Twain cover truly amazed me as it was turned from a truly romantic ballad into a true Smokie production.The harmonies again flawless against a fantastic musical arrangement.Fans of the original artists may decide either way if Smokie did these covers justice but for me they certainly did.
