Advantages: Haunting, passionate music to get lost in.
Disadvantages: It's classical and this puts people off before they even try it.

...interrupt it - particularly something as mundane as housework. Floon and I are obviously not alone in finding the quintet special. This music has aroused the passions of many and the notes say” Many musicians have spoken in awe of its spiritual Elysianism, including the pianist Artur Rubinstein (who requested the slow movement be played at his funeral), the great nineteenth-century cellist Alfredo Piatti (who asked for it to be played during his dying hours to send him into the next world), and the renowned quartet leader John Saunders who had the opening seven bars of the first movement’s second subject inscribed on his tombstone above the following Shakespearian quotation (Sonnet XVIII): So long as man can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. Not Bad
Review of Now That's What I Call Music Vol.47 - Various Artists by h4rp1c

Advantages: Some
Disadvantages: Not Many

...I bought this double album about 2 weeks ago and I was pleased with it because just like the rest of the NOW series, NOW 47 is again jam packed with all the latest hits from the last three months. NOW 47 is the best of the NOW series yet it contains all of the latest releases and also some cracking older ones. Disc one is made up of slower more lovey dovey songs but disc 2 is made up of more up beat club like songs, like Kenkraft 400, time to burn and feel the beat from darude. Over all this double album and the latest in the NOW series is a good buy if you like pop music, but if you would rather the bass of club music then I would recommend Cream Anthems 2001, or NOW Dance 2001.... Now 46 is top quality, like Now 47
Review of Now 46 by christopherbrown

Advantages: Everything you can think of
Disadvantages: None

...I have recently bought Now 46 and Now 47 from 101cd.com at a very good price. Now 46 is a quality album, and altoghter I ahve about 200 cds in my collection, and this along with Now 47 are the best cds I have actually bought. I would reccomened to all who like a good variety of music, both pop and some tracks which are slightly more dancier. Both of these albums are quality, and you can sing along to them with ease. The sound quality is excellent, the choice of music of even better, and overal it is a must to buy.... Read review
