Advantages: Best tracklist for a while, great mix from all genres Disadvantages: A few bad tracks but everyone has different tastes!
I?ve been collecting the Now series for years, it?s always good to have music to look back on and remind you of things that happened around the time. The Now series has been the biggest compilation for twenty years and still makes number one and sells loads even after almost sixty volumes. Three volumes are released each year. Now 57 was released in spring 2004 and was no exception to the sales success set by its predecessors.
Personally I?d place Now 57 as one of the best Now?s for a while. I was really impressed when I first saw the tracklist. I won?t include the full tracklist as it is rather long but I?ll put a link at the bottom of the review!
There?s definitely something for everyone. From pop (Britney, Black Eyed Peas, Busted, Emma etc) to rock (Blink 182, Franz Ferdinand etc) to Dance (Motorcycle, Ferry Corsten, Ultrabeat ...
After getting sick of my musical recordings being subjected to annoying high-end hiss or low-end hums, I decided I needed a new microphone to record my acoustic instruments.
The SM57 drew attention to me straight away.
Aside from being one of, if not, the most popular instrument microphones around these days (as well as world wide use in pro. recording studios), it's also extremely affordable. It seemed too good to be true.
I bought one straight away and the results...perfection.
The frequency responce on this is between 40 and 15,000Hz. Basically, it keeps the frequencies you would want in the first place. No incommodious high end hiss or irritating low end hums that drown out the rest of the sound. This superior range also makes it perfect for recording a wide variety of instruments.

Love them or hate them Queen will always be a group that will stay in the memory of our generation,simply because their success throughout the years has echoed around discos and parties when we were younger,karaoke machines nationwide or stealing the show at live aid some twenty odd years ago.you know that you could always name a Queen track if asked to do so.I am writing this review with an open mind and having played this cd many times this is my opinion.
May i point out that this review is for the platinum collection that was released in 2000 then re-released in 2006 with the new cd cover in a platinum coloured cardboard sleeve.There is no difference to the content of the cd's
