...(Rewrite on 09/07/2001) Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli (great italian "virtuoso") spent his life to search a kind of perfection during interpretations. He knew this perfection to be impossible but, for him, "perfection" was union between composer and player. Then,this perfection isn't impossible... Glenn Gould tryed the same sound by his pianos: in this way he was very careful to music structure: beauty of musical phrases, to give a geometrical "presence" to music a.s.o. Of course his Bach interpretations (but Beethoven and Mozart also), even if on a piano and not on a harpsichord or "fortepiano" , are excellent. Michelangeli is on the other side of the moon... ...Effect Madonna… after more than 15 years Madonna doesn’t stop to have success in the world of showbusiness. Someone asks himself, why the camaleontic Madonna doesn’t use internet. We must remember she has always been the first in the last years, about the fashion, about the look and about the idea to make song/album. Don’t worry, infact, now she’s ready to use internet and… more than seven years far from the sceenes (live tours) and… on internet… Of course the “event” goes with an enormous contratct with Microsoft and, first than others, one of the world occasion to partecipate an event on internet. The 28th on November, from London, has seen from more than 9 millions people, without considers who hasn’t a good connection to see that event. ...One night in April 1998, Justin Hayward and his band performed a concert before a packed house at The CoachHouse Theatre in San Juan Capistrano, California. This DVD is the video recording of that concert in its entirety with (as the sleeve note says) ’nothing edited out’. For those who know, the Moody Blues have been one of England’s longest serving bands with the most loyal of followings since the middle 1960s. Perhaps best known for their signature single “Nights In White Satin”, they have produced a catalogue of fourteen albums and apart from a six year period in the early 1970s have been almost constantly on tour.
