...Precious have a very manufactured and well produced sound that cannot hide the lack of any real depth to "It's gonna be my way" with its sub spice girls sound where as the "Almighty definitive radio edit" of their previous hit "Rewind" has a bit more life even though this track sounds like a Steps cast off. Even the video for "It's gonna be my way" (which is included on CD2) is average with the band rolling around in the surf on the beach at Nevis in the West Indies, nice work if you can get it.... ...My opinion of korns first album korn is that it is the best they they have done so far. It expresses me in so many ways that it is hard to put into words. Every song hit so close to home It made me realize that there are other people out there that feel the same way i do. The people that should buy this product are those that are needing to express thereselves but have no way of doing so. The negative thing about it is that the lycic are not all parental approved but if the parent is understanding they won't mind. It is an excape route that makes you feel better inside... Read review

...I have been a fan of The Gossip for about 5 years now and Standing in the way of control is definitely their best album to date. To start with , Beth Ditto has a voice as big and beautiful as she is.. She was named number one in NME's Cool List for 2006 (from bbc news website) , and there is a reason for that, she sings with her heart and soul, tack that onto catchy punk/diso/soul track and you have got an awesome record. The drums, guitar and vocals are very well recorded and really make the album. BethDitto's voice really send's shivers down my spine and her bridge in Standing the way of control really makes you want to dance like a maniac, the whole album actually really is very danceable.
