...This album covers virtually all of Clapton’s career, starting with Cream and ending with some of his solo work. Personally I feel that there are many better tracks that could represent his solo career (Change the World for example). No matter who plays it, cod reggae versions of I Shot the Sheriff have no place on a CD! Happily all the Cream tracks are good, and yes – Layla and Sunshine of Your Love are all present and correct. However, the solo work outnumbers the band work and a lot of it is quite weak and not really representative of Clapton’s talent. There are other, superior, collections of Claptons work and I would recommend you buy one of those instead.... Read review

...Geddy Lee has done himself justice with this CD. The music is very punchy and has Matt Cameron ( Pearl Jam ) playing the drums. He is not the same style as Neil Peart but his work on this CD is excellent. Ben Mink (k.d. lang) plays a variety of intruments as well. This is not RUSH but it is an excellent product. http://www.myfavoriteheadache.com/main.html is the official web site for this music compilation. I think this is Geddy's own web site. Various samples are on this site to listen to and you get an idea of the content without taking my word for it. Overall the lyrics and music are excellent.... Read review

Advantages: Chilling, catchy and haunting all in one.
Disadvantages: Not quite as subtle as later Williams works in places.

...While this wasn't John William's first score for a Spielberg film it was the first to gel with exquisite precision to the compelling images of the young director and cemented the double act that has been so successful ever since. The famous alternating bass notes become the very heartbeat of the shark as it stalks and closes in on it's prey. Although in places not as subtle as later works such as ET or Schindlers List it is probably even more memorable thanks to it's various themes - Quint's catchy 'irish jig', the Souza like town parade theme, the haunting 'night search' and of course the unnerving main title. All in all a must have classic.... Read review
