Advantages: Relaxing story telling music with a bit of heart
Disadvantages: Too boring

...OK album, with a nice mix of different artist most of which i have never hear of before. As you can probably tell I'm not usually into this kind of music but being someone always looking to expand my musical horizons, I thought i would give it a go but was not too impressed. Most of the songs featured were not too impressive, many of which sounded very boring and generic for the genre. Track 15, Green Fields of France - Furey & Davey Arthur was probably one of the most impressive tracks on the album; this song featured delicately sung lyrics and an impressive story which i think is based on world war 2. Some of the other tracks were almost up to this standard but were too boring and didn't catch my attention.... Read review

Advantages: Varied popular songs plus some obscure ones
Disadvantages: The obscure songs are probably not to everyones taste

...This is the second CD I have brought from this series, I find these CD's a general overview of the years music relating to well known tracks to some that are unknown to me. This therefore make is a very good album to listen to as you know what you are getting from some of the songs. artists like Sterophonics, Muse, Athlete, The Libertines and so on are well known and will appeal to the majority. There are however some more obscure songs bands like Client, Bees, which although are not to bad for my taste they may not appeal to everyone. On the whole I have found this to be a good album in my collection and one that I will listen to if I can not make up my mind. If you like the main popular songs on this album then I would recommend to have this in your collection.... Read review

Advantages: More fun than your average workout DVD
Disadvantages: Not that strenuous, some bits completely useless if you dont have a pole

..., at varying levels of sexiness and skill required! But no, the breakdown that is advertised is very misleading. I'll talk you through each bit... THE INTRODUCTION Nicky Taylor talking about how she's a dancer, and that the DVD will help you in various ways, to be more flexible, stronger, toned, sexy, have fun etc. At this point, (and at some other times too) Nicky repeats herself, i.e "the DVD will make you flexible, supple, toned and flexible". Oh dear. Have they even rehearsed?! THE WARM UP Pretty standard really. A few warm up moves, nothing too exciting... LEARN AEROBIC STRIPTEASE OK! Here comes the exciting bit! You'd think. And it is quite good. Nicky and her two background dancers go through the moves step by step, teaching a little bit at a time then putting each bit to music, before going through the whole thing again... Read review
