Album Notes: Larry Goldings Trio: Larry Goldings (organ); Peter Bernstein (guitar); Bill Stewart (drums).
Album Reviews: CMJ (2/26/01, p.23) - \"...Goldings takes on a mix of originals and a few covers...doing it with a enough grit to wring something new out of [each] tune...\"
Advantages: All of it Disadvantages: U2, are you kidding? None !!!!
...When I was sixteen, I played this album over and over again, till my next door neighbour banged on the wall that she had had enough !!!!
U2 are an Irish phenomenon, and they played for the first time out of Ireland, in a place called, Coventry, in 1979. I am from Coventry before I moved to Leicestershire. The pub they played their first gig in was called The General Wolf, and they played to nine, yes nine people...............
Members of U2 are, if you dont know....
Bono, real name Paul Hewson. Lead singer, and all round entertainer of the group.
The Edge, real name David Evans. Lead Guitarist and vocal singer.
Adam Clayton, real name Adam Clayton. Bass player, and founder member of U2.
Larry Mullen Jnr, real name Larry Mullen Jnr. Drums, and the other founder member of U2.
Now you know enough to go on with.....
Onto...

Advantages: Great rock songs to charming melodies. Disadvantages: There is no time to take a breath
..."Achtung Baby" is simply one of the all-time greats.
From the rawness of "Zoo station" the to hair raising "One" this is U2's greatest moment.
This is the album that set the scene for the music of the nineties.
U2 have always led the way in their time but this was something special.
As Larry Mullen said refering to the ZOO TV tour "people are coming to listen to us live and watch tv -what more do you want"
This is not just another album for the U2 fan, this is a must for any fan of music....
