...One of the Greatest Albums of modern times. An album with no fillers, no dreariness, no emptiness. A unique case in which reality meets the hype and the sound of a generation is captured. Alex Turner (Front Man) presents Lyrics that are rebellious although present a raw portrayal of modern truth. Anxious guitars with racing drums creates a sound of vigorous roar adding to the intensity and momentum that gathers through every passing track. Advantages: Allows us to see Alex singing some of her own songs. Disadvantages: Too many covers.
...up my mind that I wouldn’t even watch Fame Academy 2003. My mum was a bit annoyed with me because she knew I was only doing it to prove a point to myself. I didn’t need Fame Academy. To hell with it!

Advantages: opening 3 or 4 tracks, ville's lyrics/vocals, 'tight' band structure Disadvantages: fades badly in some areas....

Nightside Of Eden is a little to poppy for me, despite starting off promisingly, it fades away to become merely 'filler', as much as it hurts me to say. The penultimate track 'Venus (In Our Blood)' opens pretty promisingly as well, but again leads off after a minute or two. It's a shame to be honest, because they're far better than this"
Dad: "why shell out the cash then, if it's not up to scratch ?"
Alex: "you know me dad, always pay up on a whim. Besides, the good tracks just about outweigh the bad, making...
