...This CD definitely grows on you.Her sound is so unique that it takes a few listens to appreciate it, but please do!!!Unlike other big voiced warblers, Tweet's voice is very understated and soulful.
When i first bought this CD, i loved all the fast paced tracks, such as Oops, Boogie 2nite (recently covered by Booty Luv, though not nearly as good as Tweet's version!) and Sexual Healing. I wasn't so keen on the slower tracks because, like her voice, they are quite understated and on first listening sound a bit bland. However, since listening to the CD more, it is now these tracks that i love the most!what at first seemed to lack oomph became my perfect relaxing music.It is also extremely sexy, and she doesn't shy away from expressing her sexuality which I like alot. ...Zhane was first introduced to me at the night-club where I used to work. (No, just the music not the actual singers!)
They are two girls with some very soulful and relaxing vibes.
Saturday Night is really a warm up track to the more dancey music at the night clubs, you may of heard it before, you might not.
Not many people seem to know about this group.
Classic songs are 'Request Line', 'Saturday Night' and 'So Badd'.
They have seventeen tracks on thier album and there is very rarely a time when I skip a song, and that's saying something because sometimes I can be quite impatient when it comes to music!
This is great to relax, unwind. It's even great to listen to when you're getting your make up to go out and boogie!...

-Who are the Detroit Cobras?-
The Detroit Cobras formed in 1995 and released their first album “Mink Rat or Rabbit” in 1998. Currently the band consists of 5 members; Rachel Nagy on Piano and vocals, Mary Ramirez on Guitar, Nick Lucassian on Drums, Joey Mazzola on Guitar and Carol Schumacher on Bass. Only one of these members performed on “Seven Easy Pieces” and she is Rachel Nagy. The band has gone through countless members (at least 20 as far as I know) however have always stuck with the same R&B, Motown, Soul and Rock and Roll roots, often just performing covers.
