...ch möchte hier zunächst festhalten, dass ich vor dem Kauf dieses Albums praktisch nichts über Pink Floyd wusste und ich deshalb erst einige Nachforschungen anstellen musste, um mir ein fachgerechtes Urteil zu dieser CD und der Band bilden zu können.
Diese Nachforschungen führten mich zu Anfang in das Jahr 1967, als Pink Floyd ihr Debütalbum "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" herausbrachten. Dieses Album wurde als eine der größten Leistungen des britischen Psychodelic-Rock bezeichnet, weshalb ich mir das auch unbedingt mal anhören wollte.
Das es hier aber nicht um das Debütalbum geht, erspare ich mir und euch eine ausführliche Beschreibung zu dem Debüt. Nu soviel: Absolut hörenswert!!

Glenn Danzig and Samhain are cult icons from the state of New Jersey and even though that they are no longer together as a band , their records still fetch the mega bucks that real true fans are willing to lay out because they want a certain record in their own Danzig collection. I at one time was a huge collector on alot of things including Danzig`s records, I had each and every one including the rare Misfits pink "Legacy Of Brutality" of which I owned 2 of only 16 pressed.

...C'MON C'MON - Sheryl Crow
Sheryl Crow's 4th studio album and boy, I have waited almost 3 years to hear new material from Sheryl, I waited patiently, I waited like crazy, you see, I am a huge fan of Sheryl's and have been since I was 15 years old, I remember when I first heard All I Wanna Do...and I remember buying her records and thinking to myself: "Wow, this girl writes lyrics in a way I have never heard before." Do keep in mind, this was BEFORE I discovered PJ Harvey! C'mon C'mon is an album full of Sheryl's broken heart and it's fair to say, that perhaps, this is the most personal album she has ever made.

Starts off with a nice guitar melody going on, which instantly hits you and you'll find yourself reaching for the high volume control. This song could easily be a road song, it wouldn't look out of place...
