...This is probably the best album you will ever buy; If you are a budding musician looking for inspiration from David Gilmore's powerful blues/rock guitar solos or just looking for some music to add to your collection this is the album for you. The first time I heard dark side of the moon I was told to listen to it in a dark room, and i did and it took me places, it sounds a bit odd I know but it really did. The style of Pink Floyd is before the shouting and screaming singers and riffs that a child could make up, each song on this album is a masterpiece of which the standards can't be met by today. Pink Floyd consists of possibly the most influential musicians to date. Advantages: Roger Waters' finest work with Floyd

...I bought this when it first came out, and it was very nicely packaged with posters and stickers designed by Hipgnosis and the minimalist prismatic cover. On first listen I was disappointed as the only tracks that I thought were any good were Time and On The Run. After several plays the album grew on me, with only the contrived Money providing any cause for concern. Unfortunately for me , but fortunately for the Floyd, the whole world decided to take it to their hearts and coffee tables. Then you couldnt move for it , and it was being played everywhere, until I got sick of it. I got rid of on vinyl and rediscovered it last year when I bought it Budapest. Its still a wonderful album , a single piece with songs woven in to it, and Waters at his lyrical best, objective and not self pitying. A must purchase album.... Read review
