Advantages: Another album by the legendary Roots! Disadvantages: Not as unique sounding
...The Roots is the legendary hip hop group headed by ?uestlove a big fat drummer with a massive afro..drummer? yes..you see, the thing that separates The Roots from any other hip-hop group is that they are a live band. Instead of synthetic beats and sounds from the DJ, The Roots produce authentic sounds with authentic musical instruments. What you get is a fresh and amazing sound and atmosphere to the music that The Roots produce.
The Roots are best experienced live on stage but an album is the next best thing. The Tipping Point is the Roots' second mainstream album, the first being the critically acclaimed Phrenology. Advantages: Excellent Return To Roots Disadvantages: None
...This is one of the best albums and my favourite yet with a return to the more complicated musical progressions of their heyday and numerous shifting sounds and themes even within a single song. Advantages: Shakes anyone's laziness off their souls. Disadvantages: Too much may be too much.
...music feels like a non-stop hammer beating mercilessly your eardrums. If you are new to the band you can take off fMotörhead's airport listening to the nerve- racking "I I'm So Bad (Baby I Don't Care", a 100 beats per minute ride into the heart of rock'n'roll.
In the case you want more, try the infectious rhythm of "Going to Brazil" or the hmage they pay to the New York band in "RAMONES".
From beginning to end a chain reaction shakes your body making yourblood run in circles around the strong riffs of that son ao a vicar called Lemmy Kilmmister...59 years of a true rock and roller.
Highly recommended....
