Advantages: A great live track Disadvantages: Singing the blues !!!
...Linda Gail Lewis is a younger sister of the great Jerry Lee Lewis and has inherited the same piano playing style but certainly has her own vocal strengths that compliment Van Morrison's more gruff almost "pub singer" style of nowadays (I can't wait for all the enraged Van fans writing in after that comment). "Let's Talk About Us" is taken from their forthcoming album "You Win Again", released on the 25th September, and is a great slice of country rock and roll, "Singing the Blues" is as bad as you could imagine but the third track, a live version of "The Ballard of Jesse James" featuring Lonnie Donegan and Chris Barber is much better and shows just what Van the man is still capable of....

Advantages: Sweet Guitar sounds and Explosive vocals Disadvantages: Some songs lack Quality
...Van halen are probably one of my favourite bands of all time and this is the reason for it!. This CD changed my outlook on music to this day. It is so original, usually when you hear such amazing guitar that Mr Edward Van Halen plays along with the Sharp accurate vioce of David lee Roth, Thats when you understand what Van Halen are all about!.
The Lyrics just flow so well with the Guitar Bass and drums in this band. Everything just fits in place when you hear that first track.(Running with the devil.) your heart stops and you hear something that you have never heard before. That is one of my favourite songs of all time.
But in saying that. How can a song like that be on the same album as the song Jamies Crying. That song is just plain awful and that is the only bad point about this album. While some of the songs may be the best of all...

...After working in pubs for a while I got addicted to chilling with this guy on many occassion. Listening to 'Brown Eyed Girl' become a regular pastime at the pub.
This is a great album with such brilliant tracks like:
*Gloria
*Bright Side of The Road
*Dweller on the Threshold
*Have I Told You Lately
To name just a few.
I don't know exactly what it is about Van Morrison that draws me so much, whether you normally find him singing in the local pub or whether his voice and music is calming and soothing. His love ballads are beautiful and the song 'Have I Told You Lately ....(that i love you), will be remembered by all....
