...this is a good for money cd with all the lastest artists and singals this is well worth while. this mix of artists let you put on whatever you like. this album is parental advisory and does include foul language but never the less it is still very exciting and thrilling. the songs on this album are the artists latests/best releases most of them have been in the charts and won awards. this album is well worth its price it is a double disk cd and it contains about 20 tracks on each disk. over all this is a great cd and i would advise anyone who is in to rap and hip hop to buy this album. it also might get you interested in a new artist you might not of heard before.... ...this should be called: Female Of The Species - Various Female Artists. Way back in 98 when Phil Earle, head honcho of law and auder looked back at his catalog of releases he realised that none of them featured any women so he set off to put that right and hunted the rare and hard to find artists on this compilation. The result : a double cd of pure electronca made by women .encompassing an incredible scope of styles rarely found on a compilation like this. Released in 1999, this was a bit of a visionnary move by Phil Earle as since then, some of the artists featured here such as Bit Tonic, Kaffe Matthews, Laura B, and Apache 61 have stepped onto the world stage with their widly respected uncompromising and unique talent. Advantages: Great acoustic music
Disadvantages: some tracks are not how you know them

...I don't often listen to Radio 1, but this one time I did, they were playing only tracks recorded in the live lounge - And I Loved It. the songs were not remastered and you could hear the lyrics and music without all the extras that make some people buy their tracks. The copies by artists of other artists songs are of superb quality, and some really make it their own. When I listen to them I just love the fact that they are live recordings with no additionals. Its great that artists are comfortable with singing live, acoustic, and other peoples songs. By listening to the tracks you can tell which artists can sing and which artists definately need to remaster their tracks to sell their singles/albums. Or which need to lip synch for their live gigs. I'll let you make up your own mind who you think these artists are out of artists like... Read review
