...One of best indonesian female singers. This is the first International album for Anggun Cipta Sasmi. In indonesia it released as "Anggun". Snow on sahara was the prime title on this album. It's also has Indonesian version "Salju di Sahara". This album show Anggun's maturity in music. Anggun recently role as rock singers in Indonesia. But she left Indonesia to Paris for being International Singers. Now in this albums, Anggun offers sensual and romantic albums. Snow in sahara told about a girls whos left by her boyfriends. She was hoping taht the boyfriends will come back. Even it's impossible to be true like snow that fall on Sahara desert. You should try this albums. You will not disapointed by Anggun's Album....

Advantages: Write their own music, play their own instruments and have a variety of sounds Disadvantages: They are 'on a break'
...their third single off the album ‘No More’ and promoted it world wide then disaster struck. At an A1 signing in Indonesia four fans were killed in the rush to meet the band. This shocked A1 and their fans alike and made the band seriously consider their future. They decided to continue but to do things they wanted not what the record company wanted. They practically took a year out from the public eye apart from the odd TV appearance and concert to ensure people remembered them.
They spent much of the time in the studio writing and recording and the result was the amazing album ‘Make it Good’. The first single from the album was the classic ‘Caught in the Middle’ no matter how little you thought of a1 everyone loved this song, which was wrote by 2 members of the band. Advantages: Wonderful Avante-Garde music/film Disadvantages: Not to the liking of everyone
...Decasia by Michael Gordon might not be everybody's cup of tea. It is, after all, what might be described as a quintessential piece of avant-garde music.
Decasia is a piece of highly original music that was especially composed to provide backing for an avant-garde movie by film maker Bill Morrison. Indeed, without seeing the supporting movie, I fear that the listener to Decasia would miss out. On the DVD release there is a special interview with both Michael Gordon and Bill Morrison.
The interview is fascinating as it is clear that Gordon had really enjoyed himself when he was writing the music and when it is performed!
The film is made up from old nitrate film stock that is slowly decaying as the chemicals used to fix it degrades.
Decasia debuted in Basle, Switzerland in 2002 with a 50 piece orchestra made up of members...
