Asia - Various Artists

Advantages: a very good listen for hard house lovers
Disadvantages: not one of the best euphoria albums

...is hemstock and jennings "the passion." combing tracks like these along side other excellent hard house tunes such as electroheadz "our of asia" makes this album a winner. a song which stands out to me on cd two is "your eyes" by dogzilla. this is because i think it is a fantastic tune and i think others will agree with me. however the second album doesnt do it for me as much as the first. still very good though. For me hard house music is an excellent style of music and DT8 project are excellent hard house djs. me personally, i use hard house for excerising to as it influences a vigourous and energetic work out, fantastic for buring the calories. the album is excellent and i definitly reccommend it, especially to hard house lovers. Advantages: Great music
Disadvantages: Can't take it out of my cd player

...What do you get if you combine Uria Heap,Roxy music,The Bugles,Emerson Lake and Palmer,Yes and King Crimson? You get a fantastic line-up and music of the quality you would expect from such an auspicious collection. Their various talents were combines to create the group Asia,who utilized their capabilities in producing two amazing albums.The first,Asia - Asia in 1992 and the second, Asia - Alpha in 1993. Although Asia went on to produce many more albums,the line up would change starting with Steve Howe quitting the band in 1985, to be replaced by Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer. Despite still being great albums, they never recaptured the magical touch they had created in their first bi-releases. Amongst much debate, the general consensus was that poor record sales of Alpha attributed to the reorganization of Asia talent. Amazing... Read review

Advantages: Simply fantastic
Disadvantages: none.

...to it and I don't mean that badly, its nice to be soothed so much by one cd. The theme on this cd is mostly a natural rythmic feeling, guitars and classical sounds, but with some electric influence, but as i have said, nothing shocking, I have heard alot of these tunes on BBC 1's Holiday programme and i'm sure most people would recognise a few of the tunes at least. There are 13 tracks on this cd, and as usual, they range from different era's, most are from 1996, one from 1991 and track 3, Sueno con Mexico, a classical guitar piece is from 1979. On almost all of the Cafe del mar cd's you will find one track from about 30 years ago, but it will fit in, and its age won't show, infact you will probably find it to be the best track on the cd and will want to find more music by the artists. Volume 3 also boast's the best and most fragile cover of all... Read review
