certainly no New Age dilution involved, with all of its Anglo-American contributors intent on relocating Indian or Pakistani traditions within a vibrantly modernised production framework. Writer and producer Phil Meadley has assembled a sequence of less likely artists, particularly with US-based contributors Cheb i Sabbah, Karsh Kale, Dan The Automator and DJ Baba G. In terms of the familiar UK market, Nitin Sawhney, TJ Rehmi and Badmarsh & Shri are all well represented. The odd one out is India's Ravi Shankar, his completely acoustic "Acquired Dreams" stretching right back to 1984. Even Pakistan's Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is remixed into a spiralling pulse. Other stand-outs are provided by Najma Akhtar's gentle vocal gyrations, the Dhol Foundation's heavy stick-work against massed flutes and Fun-Da-Mental's now almost complete entanglement in their Qawwali roots. The common factor here is an assured coupling of club-orientated production techniques with an uncompromising acoustic virtuosity, whether it's coming from a classical or folk background, or somewhere mysterious in-between. --Martin Longley
Advantages: Various songs, hottest cuts, kool classics Disadvantages: a few songs bit iffy

Deep Chilled Music Review ofDeep And Chilled Euphoria (Mixed By Red Jerry) - VariousArtistsby
Batch
Advantages: Great to listen to after being stressed out or something similar, Excellent choice of tracks Disadvantages: None
...This is one hell of a great album.
Ever wanted to listen to an album after a hard days work or stressed out and it helps you relax? Then try this album called Deep & Chilled Euphoria.
Mixed by Red Jerry, the man behind the prevoius Chilled Euphoria, he has superbly mixed and selected dance tunes which bring a chilled out feeling to you and helps you relax.
I just love every single track on here, especially BBE. This was a superb track to hear when it was released in 1995 and I loved the remix of it which brought a feeling of chilling out to your whole body.
All the songs are brilliant and have Groove Armada, Leftfield, Rui Da Silva, Miro, Xstasia, Sasha, Sister Bliss and Moby featuring with many more included.
The first CD has 14 tracks mixed in and the second CD has 15 tracks. Both are excellent.
So basically, a recommendation...

Advantages: Very relaxing, great after a hard day's work! Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...'ve never regretted buying it.
I have summarised below the highs and lows (if any?) of this album:
TRACK SELECTION
The first CD has a total of 14 tracks, and the second CD has 15 tracks. Many of the tracks on the album are remixes of quite well known trance anthems, and indeed some of them are just leftfield (chill-out) remixes of classic tunes (for example, Coldcut - Autumn Leaves). Each track is quite long - about 5 or 6 minutes.
Trance lovers will notice some well-known tunes and artists are featured... BBE - Seven Days and One Week; Xsasia - Sweetness; Three Drives - Greece 2000; Humate - Love Stimulation; Sasha - Baja; Sister Bliss - Sister Sister are just a few examples.
The are only a couple of tracks which I find are not particularly relaxing. Most noticably Groove Armada's 'Your Song' and Rui Da Silva - The Four Elements "Water...
