Asian Lounge (3CDs Of Chillout Moods From The Asian World) - Various Artists

Advantages: Upbeat, Reflective
Disadvantages: None!

...I bought this CD expecting it to be like all the other relaxation CDs on the market however I realise now how wrong I was. The three CDs offer a variety of interesting and reflective songs which are perfect for meditating to. If I am in a bad mood I can guarantee that just by switching on one of these CDs I will instantly feel more cheerful. The only disadvantage would be that some of the songs are slightly too long and repetitive but this hardly matters compared to the fantastic music offered on the CDs. The CDs are also great value considering you are getting 3 CDs for less than a fiver! Overall, I would definately recommend the CDs for anyone looking for a slightly more upbeat version of the original relaxation album.... Read review

Distruibution: Sony Music. www.sonymusic.co.uk So... what are the songs like?? ~~~~~ Disk 1 ~~~~~~ 1 ~ Lovely Head ~ Goldfrapp Well this is a good start to the album, as I love Goldfrapp! This track I belive was used as the theme tune to Monkeydust on BBC3(which is also very good~so made me smile!!) It starts with somebody whisteling, then the beat cuts in, very nice chilled song. Great chillout.... 2 ~ Why Does My Heart ~ Moby Starts with piano, then powerful male vocal starts, 'why does my heart' Woman signs chorus, work really well together. Excellent track, which I already have on a Moby album so obviously something I like. Beautiful vocals on this track, from very strong male & female voices! 3 ~ Solo Por Tu Amor ~ Manuel Franjo Mmmmm... not so keen on this one... Spanish vocals... Read review
