Asian Lounge - Various Artists

...Brill album, much better than the first Radio one live lounge album. All tracks have been previously played on the radio one live lounge with Joe Willie, but I never get a chance to listen to them all first time they are on the radio, so its nice to hear them all. Some tracks really funny and are all by well-known artist's. The artists and bands either record alternative recordings of there own songs or ones by other artists, which is really interesting. I really love the Amy winehouse - Valerie its a slower version and is really good. It features allot of the top 40 bands and gives you a chance of hearing unusual tracks that you would not normally hear from such band albums. Highly Recommended.... Read review

Advantages: great mix of diffrent artists

...from track 1 you will love this album including performances from biggie. all the artists on this album have performed in the lyrisist lounge which i believe to be in new york. alot of tracks on this seem less commercial and more underground which in my opinion is a good thing because it brings you something fresh and original. this album is produced by the record label rawcus records over all it is well worh the buy and i guarantee you will never get bored of this. the cover and inlay also offer some very fresh graphics and pics and give a detailed description of the artists producers and the lyrisist lounge itself ive had this album for 4 years now and still listen to it regularly.... ...the live lounge CD from radio 1 is formed my covers from other artists found on the jo whiley show. The CD shows the raw talent of some of the uk's new and upcoming artists. This CD also shows songs done in different ways, an intresting change to the songs you enjoy to listen to, and also making you love a song that before you could not stand to listen to. This CD contains 2 CD's so is full of tracks, 40 overall. the songs are done by jo whiley having bands on her show where they preform a version of there current single and then a cover. all done live. Some of the tracks on this album are an instant hit, but some can wreck your love for certain songs. a must buy, a new change for music.... Read review
