***Background***
Emma Chichester Clark is both the author and illustrator of this lovely book about a little girl called Lily and her well-loved toy. As well as the Blue Kangaroo series, she has written many other books including the ones all about Melrose and Croc.
***The Story***
The story starts with an exasperated looking mother telling Lily to stop doing what she is doing.
?Blue Kangaroo belonged to Lily.
He was her very own kangaroo.
Sometimes, when Lily was showing off

Advantages: immensely readable, great characters Disadvantages: a tad unrealistic and too many coincidences
best book so far, and I would thoroughly recommend it to her fans, and any general chick-lit fans. It is definitely one of the best books I have read in ages and I can't wait for her next novel. I guess since this book has only just been released that I'm sadly going to be waiting a while . . .

You may or may not know, from reading my profile text ( - in which case you probably won?t know!) that I went on holiday last week.
