Emma Chichester Clark is both the author and illustrator of this lovely book about a little girl called Lily and her well-loved toy. As well as the Blue Kangaroo series, she has written many other books including the ones all about Melrose and Croc.
***The Story***
The story starts with an exasperated looking mother telling Lily to stop doing what she is doing.

Advantages: immensely readable, great characters Disadvantages: a tad unrealistic and too many coincidences
...best book so far, and I would thoroughly recommend it to her fans, and any general chick-lit fans. It is definitely one of the best books I have read in ages and I can't wait for her next novel. I guess since this book has only just been released that I'm sadly going to be waiting a while . . .
