...Astral moisturising cream seems to have been on the chemists shelves since the wheel was invented! Then I take a look and find out that it was first launched in 1950, but the creams formula has remained unchanged in all those years.
I have been buying Astral cream for light years but I can only ever remember it being in the aqua blue plastic tub.
There used to be an Astral soap on the market too but I haven't seen that about for ages now.
Astral cream contains glycerin, lanolin and perfume and it has been dermatologically tested and is not tested on any animals.
You can buy Astral cream in three different sized pots, 50ml, 200ml and 500ml. The cream can be used as an all over moisturiser.
I suppose that many women might look on Astral cream as being a bit old fashioned, the creams that appear in the magazines, newspapers...

Advantages: Deep moisturizing ability. Convenient & handy packaging. Disadvantages: Fragrance lacking a bit.
...I was in ?Savers? three weeks ago, and came across this ?blast from the past?, ?Astral?. This was the very first moisturizing cream I was ever introduced to. Well?I say ?introduced??what I mean is, I used to help myself to my elder sister?s, when I was about 14 years old, she, was eighteen at the time.
Soon as she went out the front door I?d sneak into her bedroom and rifle through her ?Aladins Cave? of a dressing table. This forbidden territory was far too tempting for a teenager to resist, no matter what the consequences were. (I might add I was caught out on many an occasion!!!)
