The observant amongst you may just have noticed that I have been to Iceland for a holiday recently. The dedicated amongst you may well have read my reviews on Reykjavik. The broke amongst you will doubtless be hoping that I am not going to write any more about a place you cannot possibly afford to visit. Well, you needn?t worry, there will be no more rambling on about geysers and northern lights and the like from me. Instead, I am going to ramble on about the travel company I booked my holiday through: YesTravel (and no, you probably won?t be able to afford anything to do with them, either).

Astral moisturising cream seems to have been on the chemists shelves since the wheel was invented! Then I take a look and find out that it was first launched in 1950, but the creams formula has remained unchanged in all those years.
I have been buying Astral cream for light years but I can only ever remember it being in the aqua blue plastic tub.
There used to be an Astral soap on the market too but I haven't seen that about for ages now.
Astral cream contains glycerin, lanolin and perfume and it has been dermatologically tested and is not tested on any animals.
You can buy Astral cream in three different sized pots, 50ml, 200ml and 500ml. The cream can be used as an all over moisturiser.
I suppose that many women might look on Astral cream as being a bit old fashioned, the creams that appear in the magazines, newspapers ...
Advantages: Deep moisturizing ability. Convenient & handy packaging. Disadvantages: Fragrance lacking a bit.

This little tub has been used every day for two weeks, for what I would term ?sporadic usage,? and it?s still a third full. So, in the ?little goes a long way? stakes, it has produced good results.

Would I buy it again?
Yes, I rather like using the ?Astral? in conjunction with my usual Vaseline Intensive Care, Hand & Body Lotion. A perfect solution for me is to keep using my V.I.C. for all over my body, then add this to the most problem areas for a deeper combined and increased effect. My neck in particular has benefited from this method. Another positive feature is that, probably due to its light whipped texture and glossy consistency it travelled easily and extensively.
I do believe it moisturises deeper than my V.I.C. and this is certainly one aspect to consider, but as ...
