Advantages: Flawless Disadvantages: One or two ish songs
...It’s not an easy thing writing ops, you know. Oh, no. It can be infuriating, dull and hard to be inspired. Frankly, the only reason I continue is the joy of putting question marks where they obviously don’t belong, and I’m even beginning to tire of that. Wel?l, nearly. So what I’m trying to say, in a roundabout, inaccurate, incomprehensible and ? downright silly way is that AbbeyRoad is very good. Good enough to inspire me to right another very nearly, but not quite, wholly unremarkable opinion. Lucky you!
This, despite the fact that it was released before the album Let It Be, was the last recorded work of the Beatles. And a hell of a way to go out as well, this is probably their finest work. Among the contents found in the AbbeyRoad album consists of a set of intertwined songs that appeared as a medley in the LP’s entire second side, that are numbered as individual tracks in the cd, the songs: “Sun King”/”Mean Mr. Mustard”/”Polythene Pam”/”She Came In Through The Bathroom Window”/“Golden Slumber“/“Carry That Weight” (which in part contained a similar melody to another track in the album “You Never Give Me Your Money”)/”The End”/”Her Majesty” – the first four being the Beatles’ most humorous that they could ever get, with McCartney’s “Maxwell's Silver Hammer” (and actually are among the first songs that I ever learned to play on guitar) serving as what would have inspired the concept of suite...
