Advantages: Great to look at, really really easy to use Disadvantages: Lacks the functions of similarly priced machines
The Indesit Moon is, as far as kitchen appliances go, a thing of beauty. Whilst I know deep down that it is very very wrong to like a washing machine this much, darn it, I just can't help myself!
I'm going to be straight with you - housework isn't my thing. By any stretch of the imagination! So when my boyfriend and I decided to finally get our own place, a washing machine was not top of my list of purchases...that it until I fell in love in the middle of Comet...well, maybe love is a bit strong...but the Moon certainly it eye-catching.
Simple and sleek, with a solid contrasting door (mine is silver with a blue door - lovely stuff!) and a light up control panel, it just looks strikingly different to run of the mill washers. Most washing machines look boring, or sturdy, or economical. This just looks?nice.
The moon isn't just ...
In the cold vacuum of space Moon is a breath of fresh air! At last, what fans of intelligent science fiction have been waiting for. A film with a proper plot. Ideas. Atmosphere.
Duncan Jones, known to some as Zowie Bowie, to others as David Bowie's son, directs his first major motion picture. A modest budget of 5 million dollars enables him to bring us a tale with believable subjects and brooding menace.
Sam Bell is a miner working on the moon in the near future for the resource Helium-3 which now powers Earth. Quarries on the lunar surface provide the cargo which is periodically shuttled back to Sam's home planet during his contract. This is 3 years.
The film joins Sam as he is nearing the termination of this period. He is feeling lonely - unsurprising as his only companion is GERTY, Lunar Industry's maintenance computer. As ...

Destination Moon.
At the time of its pending release this film was massively promoted claiming to portray accurately but with the twist of adventure how man will get to the Moon and stay there. Unfortunately the public didn?t want the science all they wanted was the adventure and on that point the film falls into the dreaded ?B? movie genre.
The film follows Charles Cargraves, a kind of Howard Hughes of his day, as he struggles to get his spaceship off of the launch pad and to the Moon. However for Charles the space races really is on and the Russians are prepared to play dirty.
After several successful sabotage attempts on his rockets Charles goes for the ?sneaky hide the spaceship until it?s ready to launch? ploy! It is of course very easy to hide something that big, not.
Charles gets lots of big firms ...
This collection of soothing, mellow pieces was assembled by the Dharma Moon record label for meditation, relaxation, or anything that requires a restful state of mind. The artists Dharma Moon represents tend to be East-meets-West in the use of traditional instruments joyfully merged with modern dance beats and synthesizers. Here, all is peace and good vibes. The sparse, minimalist electronic notes of the first "Meditation," by Jamie Lawrence, steps up to the improvisational style of "Home Again," featuring bansuri flute, guitars, and synthesizers by David Nichtern. "Shambhala Moon" reveals an up-tempo folk sound, and here Falguni's vocals bring the world-fusion element home again, offering a beautiful transition to her own hypnotic chanting in "Subah," which showcases the transcendent power of her voice.
