Advantages: Original Disadvantages: Sometimes too deep
...This is perhaps one of the most desired albums of this new century, and quite rightly so! This particular album has rightly earned itself rave reviews with the critics, and you can't go a couple of minutes without hearing one of the many brilliant tracks from the album on the television, on the radio or in the cinema etc. Unsurprisingly each and every track has been copyrighted in some way or another for usage in movies or adverts etc. highlighting further what a brilliant album this is. Each track is a fresh new sound, with no exceptions, right from the opening track, Honey, right up to My Weakness at the end. Richard Hall (Moby) has really got himself onto the pop-stage at long last, and not unjustly! For me the highlight tracks are the haunting melodies of 'Natural Blues' and the crazy beats of 'Bodyrock'. Let's just hope that Richard...

Advantages: Another version to add to your collection of Rocky Horror memorabilia Disadvantages: Doesn`t tell you who plays who on here
...This is another soundtrack to Richard O`brien`s cult classic The Rocky Horror Show. This version is from the 1990 play cast.
Unfortunately the booklet does not give you all the information needed, if you want to know that who played who in this play.
However, I can tell you that Mr Ade Edmonson ( Vyv from The Yong Ones fame ) plays the character Brad Majors in this production.
A very unique cast of various actors and actresses adorn this unique version of this well know cult play.

This style of music can be described as 1950`s camp.
You will enjoy this version if you have never gone to see the play before in your life. I myself appreciate Richard O...

Advantages: Great choice of tracks to accompany the film Disadvantages: No Beatles (revoution/helter skelter etc!!)
...You have to admire Francis Coppola's nerve - using everything in his record collection from The Doors to Richard Wagner to accompany his breathtaking vision of the Vietnam war on acid. From the opening scene, with his brilliant use of Morrison's 'The End' you instantly get the feel of this movie, you aren't in for an easy ride. It does seem though that most of the time music is actually played on transistor radios by the marines or it is actually being heard by the characters in some way - it isn't really a soundtrack and there is very little orchestral scoring for the film - even Robert Duvall's slightly bonkers Lt.Colonel Kilgore using 'Valkyries' to accompany his chopper napalm bombing run isn't 'soundtrack' as such. But it all still works and remains the best rock/classical soundtrack so far....
