...Quiet Revolution is the latest album from Chris de Burgh, and what a fine job he's made of it. The Album is 15 original songs starting with the track "When I Think Of You." This song is a happy, fairly run of the mill love song. The next track is "Love Of The Heart Divine." This is another love song, but is very different from When I Think Of You. It's more of a story telling love song and makes a fine addition to the album. Then comes "Living In The World," a more upbeat song. "The Same Sun" is the 5th song, and what a cracker it is. The lyrics are beautiful, and its one of the best songs on the album. "Nothing Ever Happens Round Here" follows. Again, its a more upbeat and happy song. "A Womans Heart" and "The Last Moments Of The Dawn" follow, both are fine songs. "I See You Everywhere" is probably the weakest song of the album... Read review

Advantages: Genre-defining album packed with metal classics

...Once again, Maiden followed a dip in form with a defining metal album, almost flawless in it's conception. After the 'dip' of 'Killers', came 'Number of the beast', and after the slightly disappointing 'Piece of Mind' came this. Iron Maiden put in place the 'classic' line-up on 'Piece of Mind', and for the first time, it had not altered from one album to the next. McBrain, Dickinson, Murray, Smith and Harris all knew each other well, and were writing better and better albums together. After this glorious success came the infamous 'World Slavery Tour', which took on 190 concerts around the world, within 18 months. All that, and there was only a two-year gap between this and their next studio album! In the intervening year came the mighty 'Live after Death' live album, but enough about that. 1.
