Advantages: Excellent listening if you like underground Skater Ska/Punk
Disadvantages: Really hard to get hold of...try their website.

...These five guys from Tewkesbury, UK, have had a tough time breaking in the punk scene, with teenyboppers such as 'Busted' taking away from the real talent in such music. But underground Ska is the way forward, and this album, their third, is a positive example of how good ska/punk can be. The band consists of Alex (Al) Copeland- vocals, Damon (Des) Robins - lead guitar, Paul (Wol) Gurney - rhythm guitar, Chris (Jarvis) Murphy - bass, and Jeremy (Jem) King - drums. They are set to break in the genre dominated by American artists. The album tracks are: 1) The Story So Far 2) Roots 3) Give It A Try 4) Change Of Scene 5) Skanking Song 6) Dotted Line 7) Ego 8) It's Over 9) Friend Called Fred 10) Too Little Too Late My personal favourites are the title of the album song, 'The story so far', this is an excellent upbeat, typical British... HAMMERING music, SMASHING lyrics, FACING horror
Review of Hammer Smashed Face - Cannibal Corpse by Red-blood-Black-heart

Advantages: Some amazing songs and truley incredable talent
Disadvantages: only 5 songs :(

...with tough attitudes in pictures lol. But I reckon there nice guys really lol. They have realised 10 studio albums which have done quite well although they rarely have exposure on the television and their songs are never really played on the radio. So considering they haven't had much exposure in the advertising world they do very well and are one of the biggest selling death metal bands throughout the world which is fantastic (shows they have talent lol) Cannibal Corpse's lyrics are normally song about brutal violent things such as Masochism, rape, murder, necrophilia, torture amongst other horrific things. So it's probably not a good idea to have them blasting the stereo on a Sunday when your grandma comes to visit you and the are growling such lyrics as "Violate, death so foul, Ejaculate, Pieces raped." So really when you grandmother comes... Read review

Review of Idle Hands - Original Soundtrack by bandcamp

Advantages: out and out rockfest, strong tracklisting perfectly suited for the movie
Disadvantages: both the movie and soundtrack aren't as well known as they deserve to be

...+ ABOUT THE MOVIE + "The touching story of a boy and his right hand" The release of Idle Hands, the 18 certificated horror-comedy starring Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Vivica A. Fox, and Jessica Alba was delayed after the 1999 Columbine shootings in Colorado. Some feel the movie and the soundtrack would have been a lot more popular had it not been for the near-clampdown on what censors felt would perhaps encourage further carnage by impressionable / emotionally disturbed teens. However, this did not affect the movie's success entirely, as it was an underground hit with it's likeable lazy-ass stoner hero (Devon Sawa) and his equally lazy-ass stoner friends (Seth Green and Elden Helson) who are killed by said-hero's hand. Yes, his hand is possessed by the devil. Throw in some eye candy in the form of Jessica Alba as hero's love interest... Read review
