...at his best (beginning and end of the show) and Rod going through the motions with this type of stuff (middle of show).
This is one for diehard Rod fans only, new listeners don't let it put you off Rod - try starting with "AtlanticCrossing" as more typical of his style....

Advantages: Almost anyone over the age of 30 will listen to this and sing along Disadvantages: it all feels a bit dated now
...Well, if you are looking for a xmas gift idea for an older relative, you could do much worse than this.
RodStewart rehashes a load of old classics, like so many other people seem to be doing these days.
On the good side, most people will recognise at least some of the tracks on here, so it would make good background music for all sorts of occasions.
Personally I'm getting a little tired of hearing the same old songs done over and over again, although if I had to buy just one of these new line in compilations - it would probably be this one.
RodStewarts voice still has a depth rarely found these days and is very soothing to listen to.
It's a long way from AtlanticCrossings but if you are a RodStewart fan, I would recommend it.
Track List:
1. Time After Time
2. I'm In The Mood For Love
3. Don't Get Around Much Anymore
4. Bewitched...

...” which had Maggie May on it but it also had this brilliant track called Reason to Believe. It is one of my favourite all time album tracks.
I have memories of RodStewart singles running through my life but one of them was “I don’t want to talk about it”, released on the album AtlanticCrossing in the summer of 1975. This I have to say is my all time favourite album by Mr Stewart. The album has sad memories of a girl that was not to be, and a good friend who went out with her behind my back..
Anyway he continued to release hit after hit and another classic was “The killing of Georgie” from the album A Night on the Town. He had so many hits I just don’t feel the need to type them all out.
Everyone must have at least one Rod single that reminds them of something in their life, he’s a legend...
