It doesnt matter that this album was released years ago, because this is by far one of the best of Counting Crows. I have owned this Cd for years and it is always one i'll go back to. Lyrically it is briliant, the tracks are catchy and yet mellow and easy listening and you can not get enough of Adam Duritz' haunting voice. This is definately a Cd for a cold winters day. Personally my favourite track is Raining in Baltimore, as it has brilliant emotional lyrics and stays with you after the Cd has finished, however there is not one song on this album i dislike. This album is what made me become a fan of Counting Crows and will always remain as one of my favourite Cd's.

Advantages: Great songs, great to sing to, great to play to and rocks version of easy listening. Disadvantages: A bit dark and depressed in places but moreover suffering from a lack of warmth, but only in the recording.
