Germany doesn't produce much in the way of music but Kraftwerk is a one of gem. They were the one of the first bands to use electronic equipment to produce music. A late 1970s band which had one big hit. Autobahn. It is totally electronic and some German phrases. It is well worth a listen. They have went on to become a sucessful band attracting a large audience. Knowing some German is preferable but not necessary to really enjoy thier music. They definitley changed music and how it has been produced. They went against all the rules, ignored instruments and made extremely catchy tunes.
