After a fallow period in the late 70's and early 80's Van Morrison was superbly back to form on this album. H had his 1st UK top 10 single with "Wherever God Shines his Light" in a duet with Sir Cliff which is uplifting without sounding as if you've been mugged by the god squad. He shows his sense of humour (???) by following "I'd like to write another (love) song" with the most romantic record ever recorded "Have I told you lately" - buy this cd for this song alone and you won't be disappointed. The spoken words of "Coney Island" also stand out but the standard is consistantly high, very mellow and showing a ggod time. enjoy
