Avenue Q is one of the most thought-through yet simple musicals. It's music and lyrics, although not to the taste of everyone, is side-splitting and thruely comical and is represented wonderfully in this broardway album. i was one of the first to see the show in the westend, following previews, after the show had come over from broadway and i was in fits of laughter and every moment and at the end a well deserved standing ovation was heard. After hearing the music in the show i knew that i had to have the album and i'm really glad i did! i can appreciate that some people would be offended by the nature and lyrics of the song, as it just about picks faults in everyone, but i believe that taken with a pinch of salt that this show and soundtrack are truely histerical and memorable!
