~ Lover Awakened ~

Advantages: Mesmerizing action, detailed sexual scenes, great storylines,
Disadvantages: Confusing if not read the first 2 books

~ LOVER AWAKENED. JR WARD ~ ( Not an audio book- paperback novel) Book Three- Lover Awakened is the third book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and is one of the most tension driven of all the books. This story continues 6 weeks after Lover Eternal finishes so jumps straight into the action and cliff hangers left by the second book. This series is very addictive and had to buy this one after winning the first two books in the series on a raffle. J R Ward continues her story of the Warrior vampires with the third book focusing on the Brother called Zsadist. Awaken

Advantages: Fascinating, compelling, unique [insert lots of praiseworthy words here]
Disadvantages: Wealth of medical terminology, lots of literary allusions/psychology/philosophy-can be hard going

?awakening? which in many cases turned out to be a bitter gift. There is a great deal of fascinating material on their reactions to being ?awoken? and their interpretations of their illness; Sacks has tried wherever possible to follow up on the patients to at least 1972. There is a great deal of medical terminology, but there is a glossary at the back to deal with some of the more perplexing words (kyphrotic anyone?). Sacks has written this as a medical ?story? or ?examination? rather than a clinical report which makes it much more accessible to those of us who never got further than a GCSE in science. Footnotes can dominate the page but these add huge amounts of information and scope to the basic study, including Sacks? own experiences with other Parkinsonian patients, excerpts from other studies and patient notes, philosophical questions ...
