Advantages: Has some of their best known hits,has some special extras not found on other albums. Disadvantages: There are sometimes too many versions of the same song, which I got bored with easily.
'The BBC Sessions' is a compilation album by The Beautiful South. Released in 2007, it is a good mixture of all their greatest hits; 'Sail this ship alone', Song for whoever', Old red eyes is back', 'perfect 10', 'dumb' and my personal favourite 'a little time'.
This is actually a really good 2 disc special to have in your collection if you are a fan of the band as there are some really nice treats like the bands own version of 'use ... ...unusual thing about this album is that it has 4 different versions of 'You keep it all in' and 2 versions of 'Old red eyes is back'. This is really good if you are a fan of those particular songs and enjoy hearing slightly different versions of each, but I must admit that the charm of this wore off pretty quickly for me and I ended up skipping these tracks after a while.
