...'m also not sure why I decided to use Loreal Casting to do so, but I did, and I'm really glad of it. This was the first brand of dye that I used, and I was really pleased with the results. I have since tried other brands - Garnier Nutrisse and I think one by Wella - but I've always came back to this brand, as I find it's the easiest to use and gives the best and longest lasting results. ~~About the dye~~ This hair dye is a tone on tone gel colourant and contains no ammonia. It promises to give Natural looking colour and ultra-shiny highlights. This will cover first greys The box states that this will last up to 6 weeks with no visible roots, but I have found it to last something nearer to 10 weeks. ~~Packaging and contents~~ This comes in a pink box which is very similar to the one pictured, although I believe the one shown... Advantages: it's the Delgados
Disadvantages: May not be easy to find. its the Delgados so will never be a million seller

...magnificent. I've always loved the concept of ? I fought the Angels? rather than demons or devils, as angels are supposed to be nice helpful celestial beings. With its bold start stop guitar riff and Emma's measured almost clipped vocals its just brilliant. ?Is This All That I Came For? lacks the bounciness of the album version but the pared down session version with acoustic guitar ands and piano really showcases Woodward's vocals beautifully. ?Everybody Comes Down? a glorious piece of sunny pop music continues in a similar vein to the previous song but this time its Emma's turn to shine. The six cover versions included on this CD are well selected to show of the versatility of the Delgados. ELO's ?Mr Blue Sky? complete with string section is a joy to listen to, as it really suits the Delgados style and Emma's voice. A full throttle... Read review

Advantages: Has some of their best known hits,has some special extras not found on other albums.
Disadvantages: There are sometimes too many versions of the same song, which I got bored with easily.

...'The BBC Sessions' is a compilation album by The Beautiful South. Released in 2007, it is a good mixture of all their greatest hits; 'Sail this ship alone', Song for whoever', Old red eyes is back', 'perfect 10', 'dumb' and my personal favourite 'a little time'. This is actually a really good 2 disc special to have in your collection if you are a fan of the band as there are some really nice treats like the bands own version of 'use it up wear it out'! The unusual thing about this album is that it has 4 different versions of 'You keep it all in' and 2 versions of 'Old red eyes is back'. This is really good if you are a fan of those particular songs and enjoy hearing slightly different versions of each, but I must admit that the charm of this wore off pretty quickly for me and I ended up skipping these tracks after a while...
