I have 11BabyEinstein DVDs now and my little boy adores them all. He does however like some more than others and this one is only just starting to become a favourite (he is nearly 7months now).
The DVD is the usual mix of classical music and images of toys, blocks and patterns moving across the screen, while different languages are spoken (Hebrew, Japanese, Spanish, German and more). This section lasts about half an hour. My little boy does like to watch it, but it maybe doesn't hold his attention as well as some of the others in this range. It is useful for calming him down and letting him (and us) have some quiet time.
The DVD also includes a section on how to use it and a section which is a little like flashcards. A picture is shown, and then the word is said (and written) in which ever language you choose. My husband and I loved ...

The BabyEinstein company was begun by a mother called Julie Aigner-Clark - she must be absolutely loaded by now! The company now produces toys, books, CDs and Discovery cards as well as numerous DVDs.
The idea behind this DVD is that it's something that really small babies will enjoy and will be stimulated by [if you're expecting this to turn your 4 month old into a genius you will be sadly disappointed, they'll still just lie there on the playmate dribbling, no matter how many times you put this on!]
I have three children with 18 months between each so I found the BabyEinstein DVDs a wonderful way to keep toddlers occupied for a few minutes whilst I was on the sofa feeding the baby.

This is one of the best BabyEinstein titles on the market. It is aimed at younger babies and my son loved it. I don't quite know why but when I put it on he just sits glued to it.
The music is very nice and the images are also good although a few of the products looked a little strange to me. Basically the format is nice images with nice music. It's not rocket science but it seems to work.
There are a number of BabyEinstein products on the market and I have tried a few with my son but this is his current choice. I often try to buy other products on the market that are in a similar style as this but usually they just do not make the grade.
Anyway if you need a DVD for your baby then this is rated high up there. I am off to try another in the series. Enjoy! ...
