Advantages: A great choice of songs, given wonderful renditions Disadvantages: A couple of slightly weak tracks
..., expressing a desire to make good and to earn a parent's pride. I'm honestly surprised that this song isn't more widely recorded, as it is, I think, among the very best of the songs which Alan Menken wrote for Disney, and it's the last lyric written by Howard Ashman, who died during the creation of Aladdin. This is a song that I am looking for an opportunity to sing, although I know that I can't match John's pitch-perfect rendition. This track is accompanied by Beverly Holt on solo piano (as is another song, 'Dreamers') and benefits from this simplicity, which allows a complete focus on the voice.
Other songs were familiar to me before I encountered this album, but are nonetheless wonderful. 'I Chose Right' is a song from the relatively obscure 1983 musical Baby. This is a song about the moment when you realise that your lover really is Mr...

Advantages: it's an amazing album Disadvantages: none
...With out youI’m nothing is a deeply moving and thought provoking album. Pure Morning is the song that every one know …a friend with weed… and all that. Brick shit house, well my mates little bro is obsessed with that song, he thinks it is absolutely amazing and I can’t argue with that. Every me Ever you is definitely the sing along track. Scared of girls is just sublime in my humble opinion, Burger Queen is the most moving track on the album and always makes me want to cry – but maybe that’s just me. The hidden track (evil dildo) is very odd but also very cool. Admittedly I may be a bit bias but for me there is nothing that Brain Molko can do wrong. His voice and clothes may not be to every ones taste (“a cock in a frock etc”) but I think he is wonderful and that every one should worship him for the genius that he is....

Advantages: Good Songs, Good Lyrics and Good Album Disadvantages: One or Two Songs Aren't As Good As The Rest
..., which I suppose is suitable as it is used as his entrance theme. It's just about beating people up, not violently, just 'wrestling' type beating up.
The chorus is good and catchy but is a bit repetitive and does my head in after a few listens to the song.
'You time is up my time is now,
You can't see me,
My time is now,
It's franchise and I'm shining now,
You can't see me,
My time is now.'
The second verse is rapped by Trademarc, who raps about the same things as John did in the first verse, wrestling, beating up; don't mess with him/them and so on. There's a good few lines in this verse which are:
'A man's measured by the way that he thinks,
Not clothing lines, ice links, leather and minx,
I spent 20+ years seeking knowledge itself,
So now Mark reckons live your life for wealth.'
The beat to this song is the same all...
