...this soundtranck has not come to the attention of a great proportion of the public though it one of the songs has been aired one m tv and other music televisions. the cover made by Ronan Keating for the soundrack of the movie is a very smart version of the song you say it best when you say nothin at all. the music is very well played and the voice of Ronan Keating gives a very romantic edge to the lyrics. The music is splendid throughout the movie and fits the atmosphere of the surroundings.... Read review

Advantages: Interesting music for those who liked the sci-fi series

...To a certain extent, I was surprised when I discovered this soundtrack on CD, and even more finding it to be an already-listed item on Ciao. Being a great fan of the television series back in the 1970s (when I was 12 years old, part of the key demographic Battlestar Galactica was aiming to attract), I bought the soundtrack on vinyl, and still have that copy. The vinyl and CD are duplicates, save that there is one more track on the CD that probably should have been left off -- that is the 'disco version' of the main theme. More on this later... Otherwise, this is a great soundtrack CD. Battlestar Galactica tried in many ways to be the 'Star Wars' of television -- it was trying to capitalise on the success of Star Wars in the theatres the year before, and in so doing even used the same special effects teams and other devices developed...
