Advantages: Great romantic comedy, some genuinely hilarious moments Disadvantages: Predictable plot, quite cheesy
(This is a film-only review.)
There are romantic comedies and romantic comedies. Some fall into the trap of being overly sentimental - thus, people who don't have a natural affinity for romantic comedies would not enjoy them. French Kiss definitely doesn't fall into this category, so if slushiness puts you off, you'll still like this. (Even my sister would like it! :-P)
The plot basically revolves around an aerophobic (is that the correct word for those with a fear of flying?) American - soon to be Canadian woman (Meg Ryan, playing a rather more feisty character than I've usually seen her play) actually facing her fear of flying to go over and reclaim her fiance, who has fallen for another woman while on a trip there. On the way she meets a Frenchman (played pretty convincingly by Kevin Kline - you'd never guess it was him ...
Advantages: Flexible study Disadvantages: You need a lot of self-discipline.
versions. One offers face-to-face tuition in groups, which usually takes place on a Saturday and is considered by most to be fun. The other version offers online tuition, again in a group situation, and could suit people who do not wish to travel or are not free on Saturdays. You will need to buy a grammar reference book and a good bilingual dictionary, plus the Larousse French dictionary and one other set book for the Nouvelles ...

Advantages: Smell, Smoothes skin, Bubbles... Disadvantages: Nothing :) Well, maybe they could be cheaper, but it is worth it!
I tried French Kiss bubble bar a long time ago and I loved it! It is not one of my absolute favourite bubble bars, but it comes close!
What To Look Out For
Head over to the bubble bars at Lush and look through all of the beautiful solid blocks. They are all very attractive, but their is something especially classy about French Kiss, with its lilac and white swirls and the sprig of lavender. It does look rather classy and typically fresh, and sits nicely in my bedroom whilst waiting to be used. I just make sure that it doesn't get wet, and the scent lasts for ages and spreads around my whole house, making it a beautiful, non-synthetic air freshener too!
The Scent & Using The Product
Obviously, no matter how lovely it looks, the scent is undoubtedly the main thing you need to like to buy it! And I have to say, French Kiss ...
