Advantages: directed by Steven Speilberg- The story draws you in /good fantasy sci- fi story Disadvantages: some might find it slow in places ....
liked the fact that I would never have guessed what would happen in this film it was not a predictable story line for me in the slightest so it really held my attention throughout.
The film is over 2 hours long but I don't think you will be dissapointed if you are a spielberg fan and you are into your sci-fi then you will really like it.
Go on ,go watch it!

Normally, I like to review a film straight after watching it, while my thoughts are still predominantly focused on what I have just seen. However, this time, I am attempting to write this a couple of weeks after watching the film. Why? Because it has taken a while to decide how I felt about it. But I decided I did want to try to review it, so although I am unsure how this review will go, I’ll give it a try.
Film reviews are relatively easy if you love or hate a film. Even if the film is dull and boring, you can usually get a decent enough review out of it. With this film, all three apply. I hated parts of it, I loved parts of it and some bits were just dull with a capital D.

I have not written a review on this site for a very long time, but having seen A.I. last night I very much feel the need.
This film has had a huge amount of hype, and has generally had pretty favourable reviews. I cannot for one second understand why!
It is quite simply one of the most bizarre, one of the most meaningless, and definately one of the worst films I have ever seen, not helped by the fact that it seemed to drag on for an ice age.
As anyone reading this review probably already knows, the film is about a mecha (robot) boy, played by Haley Joel Osment. He was created to be the first robot capable of independant motivation, and of love.
